The 24-year-old Manchester City and England player bought six new homes in an unfashionable part of Stockport which are being advertised with a rent of £750 a month. The 24-year-old snapped up the six two-bedroom houses in an unfashionable part of Stockport, Greater Manchester, for an estimated cost of £166,000 each.

He follows in the footsteps of former England striker Michael Owen who bought five houses on the same street in Chester.
